I actually went out to try and photograph the perseid meteor shower, but unfortunately a storm was coming in and so it was too overcast to see space. So, I started trying to capture some images of the storm and managed to get a bit of distant lightning in a couple of the shots. I probably took 400 images to get it, but it’s digital! I was using a fairly slow shutter speed and so any time a car came by it would leave a cool light trail.
